The Founder

Hi, I’m Wilhemina, the founder of Owame. I’m Ghanaian, and the inspiration for this business came to me during my college days. Growing up, my mom always gave me Shea butter to combat dry skin, but in college, I realized the raw Shea butter had a strong natural scent. That’s when I began experimenting with adding fragrance oils to make it not only moisturizing but also beautifully scented.

What started as a simple idea to solve my own problem has grown into something so much bigger a passion to share the beauty and benefits of Shea butter with the world. With encouragement from loved ones and God’s grace, I’m finally launching Owame, a brand rooted in quality, authenticity, and care.
